  1. Functions to receive and store data sent from compatible devices and apps

    TR-7wb/nw/wf Series, TR4 Series

The Service stores up to 450 days of data depending on the recording interval set for the device.

TR-7wb/nw/wf Series (Auto-Upload): Old data that exceeds the storage period will be deleted as time progresses regardless of whether new data is received or not.

TR4 Series: Old data will be deleted as new data is received; however, the server will periodically delete any data which is older than 450 days old.

The maximum length (in days) of stored data is calculated based on the recording interval of the last received data. Changing from a long recording interval to a short recording interval will shorten the number of days and may result in the deletion of a large amount of data. Please be careful when changing the recording interval.

For the TR-7wb/nw/wf data, when it is determined that a time adjustment is needed, the Service automatically adjusts the time and stores the data.

For the TR-7wb/wf data that was manually sent via T&D Thermo App, 20MB of storage space is provided for storing data including recorded data of the RTR-500 Series and other compatible products. To give an example of storage requirements, in order to store full data from one TR-7wb or TR-7wf unit (2 channels x 8,000 readings), it will take about 45KB.

RTR500B Series, RTR-500 Series and Other Compatible Products

The Service stores data as follows:

      Current Readings (*5) Recorded Data
    RTR500BW(HTTPS) Up to 450 days of data (*1) Total of 20MB (*4)
    RTR-500 Series(*2) / TR-700W Series (FTP) 1,500 readings/unit (*3)
    RTR-601 Series
(*1) The amount of data stored depends on the recording interval set for the Remote Unit as shown below.

Recording Intervals and Corresponding Maximum Length (in days) of Stored Data

    Recording
    Interval
30 sec or less 1 min. 2 min. 5 min. 10 min or more
    Maximum Length
    (in days)
    20 days 30 days 80 days 200 days 450 days

    - When the recording interval for a Remote Unit is less than 30 seconds, the interval of Current Readings Data which can be displayed is 30 seconds.

    - Old data will be deleted as new data is received; however, the server will periodically delete any data which is older than 450 days old.

    - The maximum length (in days) of stored data is calculated based on the recording interval of the last received data. Changing from a long recording interval to a short recording interval will shorten the number of days and may result in the deletion of a large amount of data. Please be careful when changing the recording interval.

(*2) Applies to data transmission via FTP from RTR500BC for Windows, RTR-500MBS-A, and RTR-500NW/AW.
(*3) When the amount of Current Readings Data exceeds the storage capacity, the oldest data will be overwritten.
(*4) When the amount of stored Recorded Data exceeds 20MB, 5MB of old data will be automatically archived into a ZIP file and saved. At the same time, space for new data will be created by deleting that 5MB from the User's allotted storage space. An e-mail notification will then be sent to the registered email address informing the User that archiving has occurred and the User should, if necessary, download the ZIP file as soon as possible. This Zip file will be available for download until the next archiving occurs and a new ZIP file is created. To give an example of storage requirements, in order to store full data from one RTR-501 unit (1 channel x 16,000 readings), it will take about 32KB.
(*5) Current Readings are defined as the most recent measurements recorded by data loggers. However, for RTR-574 and RTR-576, due to device specifications the interval for recording data and the timing for saving Current Readings Data does not match exactly. Therefore when comparing Current Readings Data and Recorded Data, the times of measurements may differ and hence measurement readings may slightly vary.
  2. Access methods for received data stored in the Service

TR-7wb/nw/wf Series ・Using a browser - graph up to 16,000 (most recent) data readings per unit (*6)
    ・Using a browser - access data files sent manually via T&D Thermo(*7)
